Okay, Here's what's going on. I got my new Mac this past Tuesday and I se it up with the delivery guy present from the store. Good thing he was here. I got through most of the OS install just fine; but, just before it was done, the OS detected my video cam and wanted me to select a picture for my account. At that point, Voice Over quit and the only way to not select a picture and get back to the set up was with the track pad. I'm a little concerned about what a blind user would need to do in the situation where they need to install the OS and have no sighted assistance.
On another matter, I believe that I correctly imported my windows contacts in to my Mac address book; however, I can't seem to select from or even read names of these people at all. When I go in to the address book, I can't seem to navigate it at all. The built in help isn't much help. Any advice? Thanks. Sincerely, The Constantly Barefooted Ray Now a Mac user!!!
