Yep. The margins Apple make are tremendous, but it’s the happy brand and they can afford to overcharge. I mean, if you aren’t going to be at the bottom of the pile, then you can sure as hell afford to be at the top. :)
Having said this, the one thing I’d never compromise on, no matter what, is power supplies. You absolutely, definitely don’t want to be electrocuted because the cloners skimped on more than just R&D. I read somewhere (from a bloke who’s really done the tests) that the Apple switching bricks do provide exceptional performance, if it were not for the price tag, and even compared to their rivals. -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
