For the money, I'd stay with the mac book air, It's at least in NZ dollars, cheaper but has better specs for power and size,
The new mac book is only 12 inchs, but the prcessor is a Mobile intel starting at 1.1 GHZ. To me less powerfull than the Air, and as for the keyboard, I don't find the new mac book keyboard as nice to use as the keyboard for the mac book air or pro It to me doesn't have the same key distinction as the air or pro keyboards, the keys are all flat and very little space for indication between each key. The mac book is very sleak and light but for the power / cost value I'd be looking at the mac book air devices. But that's just my thoughts. HTH.
