LTE only needs 1 bar to work for the most part, 2 being great and anything over 
2 is extra.:)  That’s a gross generalization and depends on a lot of things but 
is a rough rule of thumb.

You should also enable VOLTE or voice over LTE if you have a knob for that on 
your phone.  This will enable clearer calls that are sent over the LTE channel. 
 Wide band codecs are available if the other phone supports it that you’re call 
and the networks in-between.

I leave it enabled but that’s me, your milage may vary.
