You can get 32 GB SD-HC cards very cheaply nowadays, in packs. You might just pick up a pack of them, and simply spread your content over the cards for your Stream. That’s a sure-fire way to make it work, and you don’t have to worry about whether the particular card of a higher capacity might or might not work.
Still, nothing says proof like seeing it work, so, when you get the time, give your new card another spin after formatting it fully with your Mac.
