Huge Tarzanne cry!

Actually, I figured out the problem... well... part of my proboem. How's that?
I have Voiceover set to be routed through a really cheap little pair of PC
speakers, so that it's localized away from my big studio monitors that I use
when I am doing my audio production work. I have all the other system sounds
set to be routed through my audio interface which has its main out going to my
monitors. What I didn't realize was that the damn interface came unplugged.
Suffice it to say, I! r'really! feel friggin stupid right about now! I am such
a dork! I can't believe that it never until last minute dawned on me to check
that. Deh... And I'm suppose to be I.T. Earth callen Shirlock! LOL! I say
part of my problem as now, when I get to the part of the Ubuntu installer where
I tell it to erase the whole disk, then I select the virtual SCSI drive that it
created for the VM, it appears either the installer is hanging when I hit space
on the next button, or, Orca's crashing, and not letting me restart it.

Anyone care to explain that one? I don't get it!

Chris.
