I have a Nakamichi Dragon that would be perfect for the job but that’s probably
overkill. If we were geographically closer we could set up a lending
arrangement but I’m not sure I want to ship a rare recorder across the pond.
(for celebration reasons) I don’t even have any media for it any more. shame
This is what I meant the other day when I said my world was crashing down
around my ears because everything was so digital and compressed.

It’s almost cheaper to send your cassettes to a service that does this and do
it once in to the digital format of your choice instead of dedicating hardware
but it depends on the size of the library involved. What about a trip to eBay
to buy a good vintage deck?
