It's funny you'd mention that, as I think, though don't quote me on this,
that Cox actually bought them in some regions, but not sure if that was
nation wide. I know at least in my area, they did.

I’m sure TV OS will make an appearance. That’s a serious development
platform competing with Amazon and Google, it’s a hugely important deal for
Apple. So much so they were considering buying Time Warner which holds HBO
among others. Apple wants to get in to the TV game very badly but it’s not
easy. Competing content providers make things very difficult to negotiate.
When you have 200 billion in the bank though you can buy one of these
providers and end run around the problem.

Firstly, I don't think this would matter, but, yes, I definitely do have
a developer account, which BTW, ironically just renewed this month, but
anyway, I want to watch WWDC tomorrow live, or if nothing else, I want to
watch the streamed archive if I do! happen to miss it.
What app do I need to get from the app store to do this? On the 3rd gen
Apple TV, it wasn't an issue, as it already was included, but not so on
the 4th.
