Ho again Andy,
You are most welcome.
I found, rather simply I might add, both a text copy of keyboard shortcuts for el captain, and the voiceover users guide in text. If you require them write me off list and I can either send them along or tell you where they can be found.

Hi Karen.

Thank you for responding to my enquiry.

I am aware of John's site, Mac for the Blind and indeed, John is currently assisting me resolve my problems and does have a number of audio podcasts available, which I have already downloaded two of them.

However, I floored myself saving up for my new Imac and simply cannot afford these.

This is why I'm trying to locate some text tutorials or something like that, to get me going.

Thanks for your advise.

Very best wishes.
Andy.

 Hi,
No idea which os you are running but John, who is a member here, keeps all
of the voiceover users guides in test on his website.
 www.macfortheblind.com
Or I think that is correct.
I cannot say if it remains, but there is or was a training built into the
 voiceover utility itself.
Loads of free options out there for you.
 HTH,
 Kare
