I can’t say I’ve ever tried using the numpad for navigation but the thing I do use is the touch pad, I’ve got the new magic touch pad 2, I find it a bit harder to use than the older style but being able to use the touchpad of my mac in the same way as the touch screan of my iPhone is great. Keeps everything in alinement.
I had to setup my voiceover settings to allow me to use the touch pad that way though. From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ben J. I, on the other hand, have a full wired keyboard with a numpad, and I keep it tied to my Dell Inspiron E1505, which is running the deprecated OS, Windows XP! That is to say, I really haven't missed the numpad on OSX. I know it surely can be used without a numb pad, but, as with Jaws, is it easier to use with one? The option of buying the wireless magic keyboard appeals to me, but I don't know how often I would wish I had the numb pad. Thanks for any information.
