Hello everyone,
So, I have a bit of a problem. I will be getting a new Mac soon and I will be
giving this Mac to a new owner. I believe my only Time Machine backups are the
ones that Time machine created while the beta was installed, so can’t restore
from them. That hopefully won’t be problematic once i get the new machine.
First, how do I remove this Mac from the El Capitan beta program? Second, how
can I re-download the El Capitan installer? Right now it won’t let me get it
from the app Store because I have a newer version, the beta. I could go the
Internet Recovery route and have it install Snow Leopard, but that doesn’t have
VOiceOver support, sadly. I may have to do that though since I can’t download
the installer, the “Reinstall OS X” option in current recovery will simply just
install what I already have, and Time Machine backups will install a previous
beta. *shrug*
Any help would be much appreciated.
