Thanks John. I just got a bit more information from my husband. Turns out he created the file on his Victor Reader Stream so would this have caused the problem in copying it to the Mac? Could it be that perhaps the format is somehow not a true .txt format? Virc mentioned in the link you sent isn’t anything he has on the Windows computer so we aren’t sure where this came from.
