Brian, I forgot about the two finger scroll with the control. I think that is the default but I'm not sure. I always used the command option + and command option - to adjust the magnification because I'm a keyboard user and it always seems easier to me to do it that way. Making the pointer follow the keyboard Focus definitely has to be set up somewhere in zoom. I'm sorry I forget where that is offhand. It's been several years since i trained on Zoom.

Best,

Erik

Hey Ben and Eric,

Thanks so much as both of these are very helpful. Shockingly Appleā€™s user guide did not explain zoom in great detail. Eric is the zoom shortcut that you use something you customized? Thanks,

Hi Brian , I have been using zoom for about 5 years and here is what I do. I have my mac set up so when I hold down the control key and swipe up with 2 fingers on the track pad it will zoom in . And when I am done logging in I hold down the control key and swipe down with 2 fingers it zooms out again . This works well for me . Just a thought .

Hey all,

I have a student who needs to use zoom which I do not use. I know the basics but am curious on the iPhone or Mac can you have zoom only magnify a small area of the screen. For example when your Apple ID log in pops up on the computer can you just zoom in on the sign in box a person with very low vision can enter their password. IF so how do you do this? Thanks,
