I’m sure they will come up with what ever adapters you’ll need.  I’m surprised 
for example by the audio improvement on the iPhone 7 using the adapter with non 
Apple headphones and the included headset is also very good.

how cool would it be if you could plug in a high quality D/A convertor to your 
iPhone for recording maybe like someone said make  it part of a high end 
Microphone package. (I like that idea)

I just wonder myself about the removal of the traditional USB ports.  I still 
have a lot of cables that use that format not the least of which are all of my 
Apple devices.:)

I’m more curious about the light bar and how Voiceover will be addressed.
