The Pixel phone is designed to work all over the world. Google has set it up to 
work with their forthcoming Fi network. They will be charging $10 per GB of 
data, which they round to the nearest MB, and credit back the money for the 
data not used. They also state the $10 per GB is active in over 135 countries. 
Their basic plan is $20 per month for unlimited calls and text through the US. 
Calls outside the US start at $.02 per minute. Roaming outside the US is $0.20 
per minute for voice calls.

On the low end, the costs look pretty good. On the higher end, the costs for 
data look expensive. Also, Fi only works with Pixel phones and Nexus 5 and 
Nexus 6 phones, according to the Google web site.
