You know things like that are hit and miss. You’re testing the whole network between you and the speed test server rather than the speed of any specific link so you might get some idea but it depends on network conditions and any number of things.
If you used Comcast for example you might want to use their speed test which may be a better indicator but it may give you a rough idea.
