I think this is definitely on topic since we’re dealing with using a Mac to run 
windows.

I would whole heartedly support your use of windows on a Mac.  I would suggest 
going with the VM Fusion solution though.  It’s possible for a blind person to 
independently install windows easier under fusion than boot camp.  I’m sure 
that some will have a good way to independently install under bootcamp but the 
automatic installation wizard under VM Fusion which now works under windows 10 
as well is fantastic.  You also have the full capabilities of the Mac available 
while you also enjoy the windows environment.  You also have the ability to 
have smooth access between both platforms.
