Hey Scott, I don't have the play five, so can't answer many of your questions. But yes, you can try them out at Best Buy. And I will tell you that when I tried them out at Best Buy, I like the sound of the play one the best. My recommendation would be that before you purchase anything you go to Best Buy and listen to the different options. Cheers, Donna
