Ha! I miss those days, too. My graduation from college present from my parents was a stereo system of my selection. I have fond memories of going to all the different audio stores in St. Louis with my brother trying out all the different components. Alas, I think those days are gone. :)
One thing I should say about my preference for the Play 1. I wanted it for our deck, which means that those listening would be about 10 feed away. I wanted something that would be good for us, but not make our neighbors call the police. :) So, my selection of the Play1 was based on it fitting that need.
