Hi,
I have a Macbook pro 13 inch with 16gb ram and a TB SSHD. This is the one that has the DVD drive on the right side.

I have the latest mac os installed on it.

From time to time using Alex the speech will just die. I can still move around the screen and hear the VO sound effects. If I toggle VO with command F5 it doesn't come back. I must press and hold power to get the computer up and running again.

Does anyone have any suggestions, maybe if I were to use another voice other than Alex?

ChrisI could be in the middle of navigating around and poof, no speech. It is random.
