I have added the Portuguese layout for the keyboard in system preferences then keyboards, Under the keyboard tab.
However, the keyboard does not behave as I would expect a Portuguese keyboard Wood in Brazil. Four instance, to get a acute accent E I would normally press the Left bracket followed by the E. This does not work on the English version of the Portuguese keyboard I installed. What use is the foreign language keyboard if it doesn't work as a foreign language keyboard? Or do I have this all wrong, and I need to learn how to use a different version of the Portuguese keyboard in the U.S. version of the Mac OS?
