Not unless your home goes with you everywhere. Then that level of
protection might be prudent. (smiles)
Did you pay for any in app upgrades for Lookout? And what about the Mac?

On the software side though, lookout is pretty good. It takes a picture of who
ever is shutting down the phone and reports it’s location. Also has some nice
white features. I had good success with this on the android side of the house.

There are probably such apps for the Mac too and I am aware that one could
use a firmware password and FileVailt.
Might be a lengthy discussion but let's see if there are some real options
for recovery/protection of these devices.
