Hi, Donna is correct. The storage location you need to save documents that you wish accessible by all your devices is iCloud. There's actually an easier way though to get to iCloud that works in Save and Open dialogs as well as in the Finder. Just press cmd-shift-i and focus is taken directly to the root of the iCloud Drive. When you set iCloud as the default, these documents will automatically be placed in the Pages folder in your iCloud Drive.
