Hello tim, Further to the below…. I have again gone to system preferences then iCloud and turned email off. I then exited system preferences and waited for a couple of hours before returning to system preferences and iCloud and turning Email back on. that fixed the problem and both iCloud email addresses are now working OK for both receiving and sending. However can you please clarify the below question on how to access the status area using VoiceOver. many thanks…..

In the Status area, does it read On-Line and Available? 3. Under the eMail pop-up, does it have all your aliases listed? I am not clear on what you mean by the status area. Using VoiceOver how do I access the status area? When you mention the Email pop up do you mean the alias pop up? If so this pop up does indeed show all 2 of my aliases. I tried turning off Email in iCloud preferences under system preferences and then re-enabling it. that did not help. Best regards….
