Hi, Depends on what the video is supposed to focus on. A tripod would work as long as you stay in the field of vision of the lens, but that would be difficult to know when you're unable to confirm this. Also, most tripods would not work for an iPhone, you'll need to get one specifically designed to handle a phone. Really, for the best results, it would be advisable to have a sighted person record the video for you.
