I'm also able to use UEB for passwords, and I never have a problem. Yes, this 
is contracted, but UEB removes the ambiguities of period/dd translation, dot 6 
contractions, punctuation problems, and so on, making it easy to enter 
passwords with mixed case letters, numbers, and symbols.
