Hi Paul, I am having the same issue as you, and am using both a Mac Mini 2012 running Sierra, and a MacBook Air running the same. It seems to only happen on certain macs, as my friend Michelle does not seem to have this issue.
Unfortunately, I can only suggest the same thing as was posted before, just disable javascript, and then re-enable when finished. Yucky work around, I know. Portia.
