Hello Paul, Not sure to which hekpfile you went because I mostly use the 
getting started guide and I cant find an index page there, just the content 
page. But, if you are in the index page you could do vo-i this will bring you 
to the item chooser, type the word drag and you can see what items the page has 
that contain that word. Vo-space on the item you want and you will be brought 
to that point on the page.
I was confused about spotlight at first as well, but   if you just type a 
search keyword and then hit vo-down you will get to show all. This will put all 
the results nicely into a finder window where you can browse through them.
