Hi, unity is when your windows desktop is mixed in with and displayed with your
Mac environment. So rather than having a self contained VM in the traditional
sense this sort of expands the user interface to be unified or in unity with
the host or Mac in this case.
Good call on the full screen mode, command G as ET mentioned used to
grab the display and virtual window. That doesn’t work in 8.5.> On May 10, 2017, at 5:11 PM, Ramy Moustafa <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi ET and all: > > I tried and i succeeded, by using the full screen, and using the cmd-shift-u > to toggle the Unity, i can a achieve what i need. > just 1 question, what is this unity? > because when i hit it’s short cut, i i hear my windows produce a sound like > if i connect a new hardware, so, what is it? > > also, Et, u mention using the Cmd-g, what is it? > > Thanks in advance > >> On May 10, 2017, at 5:20 PM, E.T. <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> I would suggest working with VMware a great deal more just to understand >> better how it works and explore the settings in depth. >> >> I myself do this.
