Hello, I am a new Mac user, full-time. I have used a Mac on and off, and have even provided basic instruction in my capacity as a technology trainer, however am now using the Mac full time. And... I already have a question, and any help would be appreciated.
First, I use inbox.google.com for my e-mail, as I find the inbox sorting of messages to be delightful, and I prefer the interface to the mail app. Earlier today, I attempted to select the contents of a message while reading in inbox. I attempted the reverse pinch gesture, however this was unsuccessful, even when the trackpad commander was turned on. I attempted to find a text selection item in the rotor, however apparently this is only an iOS thing? Or maybe I need to add it in the rotor settings... I attempted many combinations of keys together with the shift key, and could not manage to select anything... the only way I got any text selected was by doing command+a to select all... and this was not what I wanted. So, how would one go about selecting a block of text in inbox or any web app? Is this possible?
