Ray,

The video you were watching probably was focusing on the use of ChromeVox on a
ChromeBook. ChromeBooks are a totally different entity both from Mac and
Windows. To finally get to your question though, using ChromeVox on the Mac
uses the ctrl and cmd keys much in the same way as you use the ctrl and option
with VO. Use ctrl-cmd up and down arrow to move through major elements,
ctrl-cmd left/right to move through with a little more detail. You can also
use ctrl-cmd-dash to decrease granularity and ctrl-cmd-plus to increase
granularity. You'll hear CV announce things like lines and objects when it's
announcing its level of detail. You can also use the tab key to move through
like you do in other browsers.

So Tim, I looked at the video on Cromevox. What I ain’t understandin’ is this
here. What key on the Mac keyboard works as the “search” key? I reckon that
what they call the alt key is equivalent to the Mac’s option key but more info
would be appreciated. Tell you what, Crome does seem to load way faster on the
pages I’ve tried so far. Even on:

www.newegg.com <http://www.newegg.com/>
which has become almost unusable on Safari I can navigate it completely with
Crome under VO.
