Yes, but we have folks on the list that get a list of users when starting up a 
system with File Vault. It is my opinion, that they are actually still using 
File Vault 1 with per a user encryption rather than File Vault 2 with full disk 
encryption. 
Sorry, I tend to not write enough background material in my posts and have 
often gotten people a little confused. In any case, File Vault 2 also means 
that if your computer is running then files from anywhere in the system are 
accessible, while with File Vault one from the earlier MacOS's each user had 
their own encryption, and only the logged users files are available to view 
unencrypted.
