I have a Samsung smart TV which I bought at the end of last year. It does what you are saying you would like yours to do. I can't swear that they all do it. Mine has three HDMI inputs, all full. And if I start doing something on one of the devices that's plugged into one of the HDMI ports, it switches there. Sent from my iPhone
