I wonder… If you scrounge around in the iTunes directory on the Mac you can 
find bundles for each IOS application.  these are actually ZIP files. 

Inside the zip is a info.plist and one of the items in the plist should be the 
name of the application. If Apple phone apps are properly secure you won't be 
able to use the app if you change this file, but it might be worth a try.

Look for the folder Mobile Applications and then rename the app to have a .zip 
extension then open the zip file and look around. Of course do this on a copy 
of the mobile application.
