Hello Michael and thank you for your kind reply. I resolved the problem by uninstalling the app, then rebooting the phone, then, reinstalling the app. Now, it works as expected.

Just to be sure, when I ran the app, I changed the voices for my iPhone/VO output language as well as the OCR language. It worked seamlessly for me.
