Not to be contrary nor disagreeable, but the statement " 3 finger double tap toggles Voiceover” is not exactly correct. It does togle speech on/off and this a bit different from toggling VoiceOver on/off.
The difference between toggling speech and VoiceOver is very useful when working with audio projects. For instance, suppose you have a Voice Memo you want to record to another device but don’t want the VoiceOver feedback included in that recording. With VoiceOver and speech on, you would locate the “PLAY” button. Then, by using the 3-finger double tap, you will have toggled speech off while leaving VoiceOver on. VoiceOver is still in effect with focus remaining on the “PLAY” button. Thus, you can then double tap the screen with the knowledge you are indeed tapping that “PLAY” button without excessive talking included.
