Hi Simon, OK. In the messages app, you have a list. And each item in the list could be a thread which might have several messages in it, or it might be a single message. There isn't any way on the message list to know if an item you're looking at represents a thread or just one message. If I double tap the edit button, I can indeed select items in the list, but one item might be a thread with several messages. And I can't find a way to just delete certain portions that is certain messages from the thread. Does that make sense?
