iOS app support is gone from iTunes 12.7 yes but one can certainly
sync music. Am running High Sierra and using iPhone 5 with iOS 10,3,3,

I think I resisted iCloud as a sync option a while back but can't
remember why. Since I can't even use my keyboard when the phone is
connected to iTunes, I don't know how I'd change my options right now if
