I discovered that I was not changing the amount of time that the screen would 
go to sleep.
I was pressing VO and Space on  one hour, 
and thought that selected that option.
But that was incorrect, The correct way, is to interact with the first option 
after the words,
"Turn display off after:”
Now, for me, it was ten minutes.
So I interacted with the ten minutes. Now VO lets me know that this is a 
slider. before interacting, I never knew that this was a slider.
So next, I VO right arrow to change the slider.
Now stop interacting and the ten minutes will have changed to the new setting.
Now I was able to read a Amazon web page without the screen interrupting
I’m sure most of you already
knew this, but wanted to post this for those who may not know.
