Hi Mary, These sorts of things don't actually sound like "in-page links", but more like expansion links. That is, at least from your original post, it's a link that, if pressed, expands or reveals certain information pertaining to that link. If you were to navigate through the entire eMail message, the expanded info would not be present without the pressing the expansion link. This would be in contrast to an in-page link that simply quickly jumps you to another location on the current page. In these "in-page link" scenarios, you could essentially take the time to navigate further down the eMail and find the section that would have been jumped to.
I've not received any eMails with this sort of coding, so can't test it for you. But, that's my understanding from your initial explanation. Later...
