I remember being able to do this in IOS 8 by clicking the edit button and then immediately going down to the delete button which then said trash all. I don't believe there is a way to clear an entire mailbox in IOS 10 mail application. Since you have a verizon.net <http://verizon.net/> address, I assume you are using Yahoo mail… In this case you might be able to find a yahoo mail app or perhaps even the google mail app and do the deletion from there. + Best wishes,
