Jonathan, Thanks. I have verizon, but not using Yahoo for mail processing. I use the mail app that comes on the Iphone and on my Mac book I again am using the Apple supplied Mail app.
On my IPhone 6, the edit button is still at the top right corner of the screen, but the delete button does not indicate “all”. Delete just deletes one message at a time. I used to be able to open a message, then place one finger on delete, leave it there and then with a second finger just keep tapping on the delete button as I would rapidly delete one message after another. It no longer works the way it used to with the last two plus releases of IOS. I don't believe there is a way to clear an entire mailbox in IOS 10 mail application.
