Hi Sharon, Firstly going back to windows in bootcamp Do you still have windows installed / setup on your mac book or did you remove it?
Secondly target disk mode is not what you want, You go in to system preferences then start up disk, Open this and then possibly you will have to unlock the system to make the change as you do now in el capitan on wards, So click the lock and put in your password, Then tab once passed the target disk mode option and find the list of drives / start up disks you will have available. Highlight the one that should be marked as bootcamp and possibly it's the option at the left hand end of the list. Fo space bar on this anto highlight it then tab once to get the rrestart button, space bar on this once then arrow to the right and select / space bar on restart again. Then wait till your machine restarts in to windows. If windows isn't installed then you will have to setup bootcamp / reinstall windows again from scratch. Hope this helps. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Sharon Hooley Sent: Thursday, 14 December 2017 1:26 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Starting up Windows in Target Disk Mode Hi, I'm trying to go back to Windows 10 via Bootcamp target disk mode. On my Macbook Air, apparently still in El Capitan. I've given up on VMWARE Fusion, cleaned up with Clean My Mac 3. Now, what I remember from before is that, after I unlock to make the change and restart it in target disk mode, I press the left arrow key and then press enter. It seems that nothing happens. Am I missing something, or do I need to reinstall Windows from my flash drive? If so, is there a way I can do this accessibly, or will I need sighted help?
