Hi All,

I will be getting Apple gift cards from turning in a few devices I no longer
use. I’m considering getting 2 Apple TV’s with the gift cards. I want to be
sure I’m doing the right thing before purchasing them and encountering problems.

First, I have relatively new television sets, Samsung 32” inch, but I really am
not sure if it is a “Smart” TV. I know the TV’s have HDMI ports which are
needed for Apple TV. If they are not Smart TV’s will it make a difference with
using Apple TV? I don’t want to get the Apple TV only to find out that I’ll
have to upgrade TV’s that are only 3-4 years old and in totally good condition.

Second, the tech people at Apple tell me the Apple TV will work with Amazon
Prime which is the only alternate type of service I have in addition to my
cable provider. Does anyone know if this is correct?

Finally when I was in the Apple store I saw the Apple TV, I think it was the
IV, and I’m wondering what anyone else’s experience has been with accessibility
for a totally blind person in both using it as well as getting it set up? And,
also I know they come with either 32 or 64 memory and I’m wondering how to
determine the better choice for myself. I probably won’t use it for looking at
pictures, but am not sure of the reasons why I’d need greater memory. I’m
wondering what other types of things the device can do other than the various
TV watching apps. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.

Eileen
