I have had issues with my iPhone 6 where I get this kind of behavior. Usually the phone also acts very slow. I will do a triple click home wait 2 seconds and repeat until VoiceOver starts up again. Then I will shutdown the phone and restart it at a convenient moment. Generally I find that the more that i switch between voices the less responsive the phone gets. It also has issues when there are active applications and the power level is below 30%. There are some rumors going around that when the battery starts to wear out the entire phone performance is impacted. Jonathan
