I'm not sure what it does with traffic circles but what I really like about it is that as soon as you change direction, your new direction is spoken and the upcoming street is spoken right away, allowing you to get oriented very quickly. You can get this information from blindsquare but you usually have to shake the device to have it spoken. Even if you don't use the turn by turn directions, nearby explorer is the best at providing what you need to keep track of where you are in a timely manner. I would rate blindsquare as the second best app, and the Sendero app at the bottom. The Sendero app just does not provide enough information while your device is locked.
