Ramy,
I use a 4tb drive for my backups. I partitioned it into 4 so I can
keep the various backups separate. You do not want to share a
drive/partition with data and backups. I also eject the drive when all
the backups are done.

Hello Ramy,
I strongly recommend against using a 64 GB USB flash drive to make a Superduper
backup. The drive is simply too slow in order to be used to boot your Mac. It
can be done, however, the boot up process would take over 20 minutes or so.
Also, even after the OS was up and running, it would take up to 10 minutes for
anything to happen, such as opening an application such as Mail.
Purchase a Thunderbolt or USB 3 128GB or higher, spinning drive for your
Superduper backups.
Good luck,
Mark
