Hi, I think the iPad splits the mail into 2 separate things. So your message list would be on the left side for example and the message you're viewing is on the right. What works for me is when you are in full screen mode (you should see inbox back button) is to double tap the button and I'm taken back to my messages list. Yes I would also use Outlook for iOS. I tried an app called Spark and it doesn't seem to be accessible. As for the Gmail app, it does allow other accounts, but I don't like having to go into every single thread in order to mark them as read. they should put in a rotor action where you can mark the message as read like the mail app.
