That's my feeling, too. I figured there will be people who don't care, but any Sonos users should have the option of making an informed choice. Interestingly, my husband and I have been researching alternatives. I didn't think you could leave a HomePod outdoors, but according to Apple, you can. My husband also found a case for Homepods made by Catalyst, that says it will protect the HomePod in up to six feet of water. So, I think we're going to be going with HomePods and ditching our Sonos.
