Hi May! I've used Abbey FineReader on the mac with some success. I've never gotten it to work directly with my scanner but did use the imaging utility to scan and then dropped the image file into abbey and it did a nice ocr job on it. I had some problems getting the software to run but I know of others who have had success with it and other programs as well. I can't remember the name of the software at the moment but maybe somebody else can help. Jim
